This model was developed in collaboration with Adelinde Cornelissen and bears the signature and the name of the Dutch champion, who has won the World Cup twice and Olympic medals. This saddle has been extensively tested by the top athlete and other excellent professionals and has shown that it can significantly improve both the movement of the horse and the seat of the rider. The saddle is supplied with a smaller and a larger set of Velcro loops so that the rider can attach them individually according to their needs. The standard model is produced with a deep seat, but is also available as an open version on request. In addition, the Adelinde saddle can also be ordered with a narrow waist, which is suitable for small, delicate horses, in order to achieve better leg contact.
The cushions of this model are not integrated into the welding blades and therefore leave the front straps free: the rider can position them over the saddle blade or remove them from the front incisions and apply them in direct contact with the saddle pad and the rib area of the horse. It has been found that a more extensive movement is promoted if the belt straps are in direct contact with the rib area of the horse. *
* All dressage saddles are available in sizes 16/17/18 inches. All of our saddles have cushions padded with synthetic fibers and can be individually adjusted to the horse's back. In the rear part of the saddle tree there are two additional holes on all saddles so that the cushions can be moved a little further out. In this way, the cushion channel can be expanded by 1 cm, which is very useful for horses with a wide and exposed spine.
